Senior Spotlight

It’s about that time of year again, the time when we must send our beloved seniors out into the wild to fend for themselves. Except, we kind of already do that on the weekends here with OEL… for fun…? Perhaps a better choice of words- graduation is around the corner, and our seniors are as excited as ever to celebrate the past four years of hard work before diving into the great world of “adulting”. Never a dull weekend with Bucknell OEL

Not that there’s ever a dull day at Bucknell in general, but with Outdoor Education and Leadership, things get even more spicy. This past weekend, OEL had four major events happening over just three days- it was a weekend jam-packed with fun and friends! The weekend kick-started on Friday night with the annual OEL talent show. A great showcase of the many talents we have in OEL; there was juggling, singing, paddling lessons, hula-hooping, jump roping, power posing, and even Rigel-versing (a talent much like chair-versing, but around our beloved Rigel instead of a chair, so clearly much more exciting). Campfire Campaign

  Hello Bucknell! We’re four weeks into the Spring semester and OEL has already had a whirlwind of events and activities to enhance the experience of Bucknell students. OEL is comprised of six branches – Buckwild, Outing Club, CLIMBucknell, the Bike Shop, the Climbing Wall and the Rental Center. We’re able to reach a wide audience through the multifaceted nature of our programs, but we want to be a place where everyone feels welcome to come and enjoy nature!
